1. The agreement
By installing or using Just Currency Converter, or by using the converter on this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
2. What you get
Just Currency Converter is free. You may use it for personal or commercial purposes on any device you own or control. There are no accounts, no subscriptions and no advertising.
3. Exchange rates are information, not a quote
This is the important part. The app and this site show mid-market rates, the midpoint between the buying and selling price, which is the rate banks trade at with each other.
- It is not the rate you will be given. A bank, card issuer, ATM or bureau de change adds its own margin and fees, so you will receive less than the figure shown.
- Rates are dated, not live. Central banks publish once a day on their own schedules. Every screen shows the date of the rates it is using; when the app is offline it keeps showing the last rates it has and marks them as older.
- The figures come from a third party , Frankfurter, which aggregates reference rates published by central banks. We do not produce them and cannot guarantee their accuracy, completeness or availability.
Nothing in the app or on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not an offer to exchange currency at any rate. Do not rely on it for a transaction where the exact amount matters, check with the party you are actually paying.
4. Provided as is
The app and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any rate shown is correct at the moment you look at it.
5. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of the app or this website, including any loss arising from a rate shown being out of date, incomplete or wrong. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law allows.
6. Acceptable use
Please do not try to break the service, use it to break the law, or resell it as your own product. Automated bulk querying of the rates endpoint through the app is not permitted; if you need rate data programmatically, go to Frankfurter directly.
7. Ownership
The app, this website, their design, name and logo remain the property of their author. These terms grant you a licence to use the software, not ownership of it. Third-party components are used under their own licences: rates from Frankfurter, icons from Hugeicons (MIT), and the Manrope and IBM Plex Mono typefaces under the SIL Open Font License.
8. App store terms
If you installed the app from the App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms apply to the download alongside these terms. The stores are not responsible for the app, and any support question should come to us.
9. Changes and termination
These terms may change; the date at the top will change with them, and continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
